Kevin M. F. Platt is Professor of Russian and East European Studies and Comparative Literature at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the author or editor of a number of books, including, most recently, Border Conditions: Russian-Speaking Latvians Between World Orders (Northern Illinois UP/Cornell UP, 2024). His current project is tentatively entitled Cultural Arbitrage in the Age of Three Worlds: How Transnational Exchange Defined Cold War Cultures.
