Bradley Gorski is Assistant Professor of Slavic Languages with a special focus on late- and post-Soviet literature and culture. He teaches a range of courses on 20th and 21st-century Russia, including Russian language, literatures of the Soviet and post-Soviet peripheries, and writing seminars on topics such as violence, death, and cultural memory. His writing and criticism on contemporary Russian literature and culture has appeared in World Literature Today, Public Books, the Times Literary Supplement, and other publications. He is the author of Cultural Capitalism: Literature and Success after Socialism (Northern Illinois UP/Cornell UP, 2025).
