Ziqian Zhengis a second-year Ph.D. student in International and Global History at Columbia University, where he focuses on the transnational history of knowledge between China and the Eastern Bloc during the Cold War. He is broadly interested in global Communism, the history of science & technology, and socialist industrialization. His project investigates the industrial complexes and state enterprises in China as sites of convergence for transnationally circulating knowledge and technologies.
